For ARTS: A pass in H.Sc. (10+ 2 level) or equivalent thereto.

For M.Com: A pass in H.Sc. (10+ 2 level) or equivalent thereto (Commerce and Accountancy Group Only)

For M.A. Tamil: A pass in H.Sc. (10+ 2 level) or equivalent thereto.

For M.Sc. (Software Engineering & Information Technology): A pass in H.Sc. (10 + 2 level; or equivalent thereto under academic stream in the fallowing subjects viz. Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and Computer Science.

For M.Sc. (Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication ): A pass in H.Sc. (10 + 2 Level) or equivalent thereto under academic stream in the following subjects viz., Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

For M.Sc. (Math & Physics): A pass in H.Sc. (10+2 level) or equivalent thereto with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks under academic stream in the subjects viz. Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

M.Sc. Chemistry A pass in H.Sc. (10+ 2 level) examination or equivalent thereto with a minimum 50% aggregate marks in any one of the following combinations: ii) Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry; (ii) Biology, Physics & Chemistry: (iii) Botany, Physics, Chemistry (iv) Zoology, Physics & Chemistry

(4) M.Sc. Microbiology: A pass in H.Sc. (10+ 2 level) or an equivalent thereto, Physics, Chemistry & Biology, or Computer Science OR Botany and Zoology.

For M.Sc. Biotechnology: A pass in H.Sc. (10+ 2 level) or equivalent thereto with is minimum aggregate of 50% marks under academic stream in the following Subjects viz, Physics, Chemistry & Biology OR Botany and Zoology.

For Ocean Science & Technology: A pass in H.Sc. (10+2 level) or equivalent thereto in this following Subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Computer Science and Mathematics.

For M.Sc. Bioinformatics: A pass in H.Sc. (10+2 level) or equivalent thereto with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks under academic stream in the following Subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, OR Botany and Zoology OR Computer Science.

Application form and Prospectus can be obtained from THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR - 608 002 from 13.05.2010 onwards on payment of proscribed fee noted below in
Person OR by sending a Demand Draft obtained an or after 10.05.2010 drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR from ANY BANK payable at CHENNAI along with a self addressed stamped Thick Kraft envelope of size 30 cm X 24 cm (stamps affixed to the value of Rs.30/-) with the name of the Programme for which the application is required should be super-scribed boldly on the envelope.

The Name of the Programme should he clearly indicated in the requisition letter, The Name and Address of the Candidate and Programme for which application is made should be clearly indicated on the back side of the Demand Draft also.
