i) M Sc
B Sc Hort /B Sc Fty./B Sc Ag. / B Sc Animal Husbandry with an OGPA of 6.00/ 10.00 or its equivalent under course credit system or with a minimum of 60% under annual system from a recognized University or degree from a foreign University with at least ’B' grade or its equivalent.

ii) MBA (Agribusiness)
B Sc Hort./B Sc Fty./B Sc Ag. / B Sc Ag./ B Sc Ag. Eng./ B V Sc / Graduate in other allied fields with an OGPA of 5.50/10.00 (5.00/ 10.00 in ease of SC/ST category candidates) or its equivalent under course credit system or with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST category candidates) under annual system from a recognized University or degree from a foreign University with atleast ’B' grade or its equivalent.

iii) MBA
Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST category candidates) under annual system or with an OGPA of 5.50/10.00 (5.00/10.00 in case of SC/ST category candidates) or its equivalent under course credit system from a recognized University or degree from Foreign University with atleast ‘B’ grade or its equivalent.

iv) Ph D
M Sc degree in concerned discipline with research thesis/dissertation submitted in partial fulfillment of the Programme in the concerned discipline from a recognized University under ICAR/UGC system with an OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or its equivalent under course credit system or at least 65% marks in annual system of examination.

OR MPhil degree with research component in concerned discipline from a recognized University under UGC system of education with atleast 6.50/1 0.00 or its equivalent under course credit system with atleast 65% marks in annual/semester of M Sc level.

OR Degree from a Foreign University with at least ’B' Grade of its equivalent.

For Forestry disciplines, the candidates with AIFC diploma or M Sc Agro-forestry having the above OGPA/ percentage are also eligible.

For Ph D Agro-forestry, the candidates with M Sc Agro-forestry / Forestry/ Horticulture/ Agriculture /Animal Science/AIFC diploma having the above mentioned OGPA are also eligible.

Prospectus for admission to Postgraduate Programmes (M.Sc and Ph D) and information Bulletin-cum-application form for admission to MBA Programmes are available from 26th May, 2010 from the Registrar of the University on payment of Rs. 700/- in cash at counter (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST/PH category candidates) or by sending bank draft worth Rs. 750/- (Rs. 550/- in case of SC/ST/PH category candidates) payable at State Bank of Patiala, Nauni/ UCo Bank, Nauni in the name of the Comptroller of the University.

The application form downloaded from the University website www.yspuniversity.ac.in and accompanied with a bank draft worth Rs.
700/- (Rs. 500/- in case of SC/ST/PH category candidates) are also accepted.
