Admission Notice - 2010 Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC) Admission to Diploma Courses in Instrument Technology, Die and Mould Making, Mechatronics & Industrial Automation

Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes

Diploma in Instrument Technology (3 years)

Advanced Diploma in Die and Mould Making (4 years)

Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics & Industrial Automation (4 years)

Eligibility

The applicant should have passed CBSE 10th class or equivalent ten years of recognised study (or any other recognised higher examination) with Mathematics and Science subjects, and securing minimum 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST). Wards of Kashmiri migrants will be given 10% relaxation.

Those who have appeared in the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply provisionally, but shall produce detailed mark sheet of the qualifying examination at the time of counseling failing which such candidate shall not be eligible for admission and his / her candidature shall stand cancelled.

AGE: Those born on or after 1st September 1991 (1st September 1988 in case of SC/ST candidates) are eligible.

How To Apply

Application forms along with detailed information are available on our website www.csio.res.in w.e.f. 15-05-2010. The application form is required to be filled on-line.

The charges for cost of Application form including examination fee are Rs.1000/- (Rs 500/- For SC/ST Candidates) in the form of crossed Demand Draft issued on or after 15.05.2010 in favour of Director CSIO, payable preferabaly at State Bank of India, Sector 30, Chandigarh (Code 1443).

Demand draft for requisite fee must be ready with the applicant before filling up the application form on-line.

Last date for filling up online forms is 21-06-2010 up to 5:00 PM.

After submitting the completed application on-line, a print-out of the form with a photograph affixed at appropriate place, along with demand draft for requisite fee, is required to be posted to the
