Government of Maharashtra State has reserved 28 seats (One at each College) for the academic year 2010-2011 for the following undergraduate degree courses in Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani and Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli in Maharashtra State for the wards of displaced citizens and wards of officers/staff of Military and Para-military forces/all-India services posted to combat terrorists activities in Jammu and Kashmir State.

For Sl. No. 1 to 6: XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern or an equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English. Candidates, who had not offered Mathematics, shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective University.

For Sl. No. 7: XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern or an equivalent Examination thereto with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

For Sl. No. 8: Xll Std passed in 10+2 or an equivalent Examination in Arts/ Science/ Commerce with English. (Admission is open for Male & Female candidates)

Application forms and prospectus shall be made available w.e.f. 30th May, 2010 on http://oasis.mkcl.org/agri

Candidate should fill in application online on or before 25th June, 2010 and a download printout of the same. The candidates are advised to paste recent passport size photograph on the duly filled in downloaded printout form and attach attested Xerox copies of the certificates along with Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- drawn in favour of ‘MKCL, Pune’ payable at Pune and submit the same to the Hon’ble Chief Secretary, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu on or before 30th June, 2010. Government of Jammu and Kashmir will arrange to verify the ‘Migration Displacement Certificate ’ of the candidates and only valid applications will be forwarded by the State Government of Jammu and Kashmir to the ‘MKCL, ICC Trade Tower, B - Wing, 5th Floor, above Crossword, Senapati Bapat Road, Shivajinagar, Pune - 411016, Maharashtra ’ on or before 5th July, 2010.

The Xerox copies of the following additional certificates, Application form should be submitted along with certificate mentioned in the Prospectus:

(i) For the Government Servants or persons serving in Military or Para—Military Forces, certificate from Head of Department/University where they are serving.

(ii) Those staying in Migrant/Refugee camps and those are registered with Government as Migrant, should submit certificate from the officer or Migrant/Refugee Camp.

(iii) Displaced persons staying with relatives/friends any where in the country other than refugee camp, should enclose a certificate from District Magistrate of the district where they are staying to the effect that the parents/guardian of the candidate is displaced person from Jammu and Kashmir State due to recent disturbance (1990 onwards).

The candidates are advised that if any of the certificate mentioned above is not in English or Hindi, a copy of English translation duly signed by Head Master/Principal of recognised Institute and attested
bv Gazetted Government Officer of Jammu & Kashmir Government should be enclosed.
