Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes:

4 Year Integrated B.Sc.Ed (8 Semester)

4 Year Integrated B.A.Ed (8 Semester)

6 Year Integrated M.Sc.Ed (12 semester) in Physics, Chemistry & Math


One Year M.Ed. (2 Semester)

M.Phil & Ph.D.

Institutional Diploma in Guidance & Counseling (IDGC) – Distance Mode (One Year)

For 4 Year Integrated B.Sc.Ed (8 Semester)

A pass in PUC or equivalent with 45% marks in the aggregate and have passed their exams during the academic year 2008-09 with subjects:

i) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for PCM Stream.

ii) Physics, Chemistry and Biology OR Chemistry, Botany, & Zoology for CBZ stream.

For 4 Year Integrated B.A.Ed (8 Semester)

A pass in PUC or equivalent with 45% marks in the aggregate with the following Combinations:- English, Regional Language & any two of the following subjects: History, Geography, Economics, Political Science and Sociology.

For M.Sc.Ed:

A pass in PUC or equivalent with 45% marks in the aggregate with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

For M.Ed.:

B.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. / B.A.Ed. or equivalent degree with 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates with any P.G. degree will be given appropriate additional weightage.

Application can be obtained by post by sending DD for Rs. 250/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Principal, RIE Mysore, payable at Mysore, along with self addressed envelope of size 26cm X 12cm bearing a stamp for Rs. 10/-.

Application form can also be downloaded from the website www.riemysore.ac.in and sent along with DD for Rs. 250/- (Rs. 1 50/- for SC/ST candidates) Separate application should be submitted for each stream / programme.
