Courses offered

1. M.Phil. in Economics, Duration 2 years

Eligibility: The minimum qualification for admission to the M. Phil. program in Economics shall be a Master's degree in Economics or in any of the following allied subjects:

(a) Business Economics
(b) Business Administration
(c) Commerce
(d) Statistics
(e) Mathematics
(f) Operations Research
(g) History
(h) Engineering

with at least 55% in the aggregate, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Academic Council. The above minimum marks requirement shall not however, apply in the case of the teachers of the University of Delhi holding substantive appointment before the promulgation of the ordinance relating to the M. Phil. Program. Such teachers need only have 50% in the aggregate to be eligible.

2. M.Phil. in Social Work, Duration 4 years

Eligibility: A candidate who has passed the M.A. (Social Work) examinations of University of Delhi or on examination recognized, as equivalent by the University is eligible for admission. However he/she should have obtained 55% or more of the maximum in the aggregate.

3. Diploma Course in Chinese language, Duration 1 year

Eligibility: Certificate course in Chinese Language issued by the University of Delhi or an equivalent qualification

4. Advanced Diploma course in Chinese language, Duration 1 year

Eligibility: Two-year Certificate/Diploma in Chinese Language issued by the University of Delhi or an equivalent qualification.

5. Diploma Course in Japanese language, Duration 2 year

Eligibility: Certificate course in Japanese Language issued by the University of Delhi or an equivalent qualification

6. Advanced Diploma Course in Japanese language, Duration 1 year

Eligibility: Diploma in Japanese Language issued by the University of Delhi or an equivalent qualification.
