Jadavpur University
Located in Kolkata, West Bengal, Jadavpur University was formally established in 1955 under the first Jadavpur University Act. However its parent institute was set up by the National Council of Education, Bengal way back in 1906. Ever since its inception it has offered a range of programs in Arts and Humanities, Engineering, Social Sciences, Computer Applications and other sciences. The University has had a notable record in introducing innovative courses in emerging areas of knowledge from time to time.
