Scope of Animation

No education is worth until and unless it is not worth enough to serve you livelihood along with name and fame. Animation as a Career option is one such field where one can fulfill his / her dreams while enjoying work and getting self satisfaction and praise from the audiences.

One can study animation, graphics and multimedia courses either full time or part time student. Several programs are offered like certificates, diplomas, and degrees etc. While admission into full time courses, i.e. diplomas and degrees etc is offered on the basis of entrance exam, admission into part time and short term courses is offered on first come first serve basis.

This field being new to the Indian sector has a lot of hidden potential and talent, which needs to be properly groomed and exploited according to the international standards. There are many companies like Walt Disney, I Max and Sony etc always ready to outsource their cartoon characters and to invest heavily in this sector in India.

Remuneration

Animation is a dazzling career option. After finishing the in-house training with leading animation production studio, one can work as a junior animator with salary ranging between Rs.12000 to Rs.18000. As an animator gains expertise and experience, he/she can surely look forward for promotions and salary anywhere between Rs. 25,000 to Rs.40, 000. Those who start own business houses can exploit the opportunities hidden in animation industry up to maximum extent. It’s one of the goldmine fields to explore.
