UCO Bank Probationary Officer (P.O.) Exam

UCO Bank conducts PO Exam for recruitment of Probationary Officers in various branches across the country in Junior Management Grade / Scale I. Exams are conducted every year. Candidates are selected on the basis of written test and personality test & Interview.

Eligibility Criteria for appearing in UCO Bank P.O. Exam

Nationality: Must be citizen of India.
Age: Candidate must have attained 21 years of age but must not be more than 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any stream from any recognized university Computer knowledge is essential.

Important Dates:
  • Commencement of Submission of Online Application Form: Mid of December
  • Last date for submission of online application form: Mid of January
  • Date of commencement of UCO Bank PO Written Examination: Mid of March
Selection Procedure:

Candidates who apply for recruitment of UCO Bank PO shall need to under go UCO Bank PO Examination Objective Type and Descriptive Type. All candidates who qualify in written test are called by UCO bank for Personality Test for final selection. The question paper in the written covers:
  • General Awareness
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning Ability
  • English Language
  • Descriptive Test

    Today India boasts large number of banks both public sector Bank and private sector bank as well as foreign banks. Many banks have opened their branches across the country in all major cities and towns and many have entered in rural areas.

    This act empowers the RBI to regulate, inspect and control the banks in India. Any bank new or old needs license from RBI to open a new branch. The RBI was nationalized by Government of India in 1949.

    Also, the money lending rates of all banks are almost same and regulated by RBI. Indian banks also offers insurance schemes for a person’s health, home safety, industry, vehicle etc. with multiple benefits. Banks in India are parts of a person’s life.
