How do I reach my goalStep 1: Science is a must in 10 2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects. You can take up Biology as one of your core subjects.
Step 2: You have to do your graduation in a subject of your choice and secure very good grades
Step 3: Pursue masters in the subject of your choice to further realize your dream of a scientist
Step 4: Prepare for NET (National Eligibility Test) and get your JRF (Junior Research Fellow) to start your research.
Or
Enroll in a PhD program in your university and apply for grants in institutes
Or
Prepare for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)
Step 5: After clearing GATE, you can enroll for doctoral programs in various branches of science with government scholarships. You can get your doctoral degree after 5 years of extensive research.
