In today’s era of globalization, hospitality industry is indeed assuming greater significance and is fast developing into a lucrative career provider. Today a training program in hospitality management encompasses training in various aspects of the business of hotel related industry, travel and tourism related industry and housekeeping and catering in Hospitality industry (including customer care executives).

A program in hospitality management generally involves in-depth laboratory work for students to acquire required knowledge and skills standards in the operational areas of Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping.

Hospitality Management Pay Package

Generally after completing a diploma or a bachelor's course in hospitality management, graduates are usually absorbed as a trainee. After successful completion of training/probation, they may be absorbed in positions with salaries between Rs 7,000 to Rs 10, 000. As one gains experience in the field, he / she can command higher salary.
