Vedic Astrology Eligibility Criteria

One needs to have an inborn desire to learn Vedic astronomy. The basic requirement for training in Vedic astronomy is generally a pass 10+2 qualification or its equivalent.There are many certificates and diploma programmes being offered by various institutions.

Some universities like Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur do offer B.A. /M.A. /Ph.D in astrology. For post graduate level courses, graduation in the subject is compulsory.

Trained astrologers mostly set up their own consultancy services in order to cater to the needs and aspirations of the public. A good many of them function as columnists for leading newspapers and magazines.
