Importance of Self Assessment


The importance of self-assessment while on the verge of taking decision about your future cannot be stressed enough. It is so important that you begin by asking yourself "Who am I?" and then making step by step, a professional personality for yourself. This inmost journey helps you in the process of self-evaluation, giving clarity to your thoughts and helping you to define your interests, preferred skills, your preferred work values, your educational aspirations and even helps you to define your work personality. You have to consider various aspects and put together a summary profile of yourself so that you can take informed decisions. Remember that Self-assessment is a process that you should undertake periodically throughout your life.

    I passed my 12th in the year 2011 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Informatics Practices and Enlish.Overall percentage was 81.4%. I took a drop this year but due my own mistakes i kept myself distracted from my studies and finally couldnt make for any engg exam with a proper rank. My parents dont agree for anymore drops and wasting time. They want me to take admissions in any of engg colleges or go for some other courses. My interest lies in computer programming but coudnt get any good engg colleges. So can

    Sir I want to take admission in Goenka College at Kolkata in b.com(hons.) course so what I have do sir???I have scored 68% in best of 4 from isc board with 66% in accounts.I will be highly greatful to you if u suggest me what to do........
