Combined Matric Level-Main Exam - Examination Pattern

a) Main Examination for Grade 'C' Stenographers (Conventional Type)

Paper-I
Part-A	General English	100	2 hours	10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon
Part-B	General Studies	100	2 hours	10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon
Paper-II	Essay (Hindi/English)	100	2 hours	2.00 PM to 4.00 PM

Skill Test: Stenography skill test: 100 words per minute - 300 marks

(Stenography Test will be conducted later for those candidates who qualify in the Main Examination)

Note: - The candidates who opt for Hindi/English in General Studies and Essay will have to take the skill test in Hindi/English as the case may be.

Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam

b) Main Examination for LDC (Conventional type):

Part A	General English	50
Part B	General Studies (English/Hindi)	100
Part C	Arithmetic (English/Hindi)	50

Skill Test: Typing Test will be conducted later for those candidates who qualify the main examination.

C) Main Examination for Stenographer Grade 'D' (Conventional Type):

Paper-I
Part A	General Studies (Hindi/English)	100	2 hours	2.00PM to 4.00PM
Part B	Language Comprehension(Hindi/English)	100

Skill Test:

Stenography skill test-200 marks-80 words per minute. Stenography test will be conducted later for those candidates who qualify in the Main examination.

Note: The candidates who opt for Hindi/English in General Studies/Language comprehension paper have to take the skill test in Hindi/English as the case may be.
