Under-Graduate

The eight semester course is designed to produce state of the art technocrats of international standards. Each semester comprises of 5 theory and 3 practical papers amounting to 15 credit hours in theory and 8 in laboratory with summer training at the end of each semester.

The students handle projects on their own after the fourth semester.

INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM

The IIIT Allahabad has started offering M.Tech. programme in Information Technology in 2002. The Intelligent System is a pioneering branch of study that institute offers. The programme focuses on the simulation of human behavior, study of human mind and development of embedded systems.

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION & COMPUTING

Wireless networking is almost driving the world. The IIIT Allahabad has recognized the potential in Wireless Networking Technologies and hence started offering M.Tech. programme in Wireless Communication & Computing (WCC).

The programme in Wireless Communication & Computing (WCC) focuses on technologies such as GSM, CDMA, CDMA 2000, EDGE, and UMTS WLans, Protocol implementation, Sensor networks, networking protocols through research, teaching and technology and transfer. BIO INFORMATICS

Software is holding the key everywhere and affects every facet of our life. Keeping in view this vital fact the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad-IIITA started offering M.Tech programme in Information Technology in 2002.

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA) offers M.Tech. programme in Bio Informatics. The course in Bioinformatics includes subjects like computing, biosciences, chemistry, and physics etc. The programme is a fusion of Information Technology to Biosciences. The training in this programme is capable of producing techno masters for the service of humankind.

MPCLIS (Master Programme in Cyber Law and Information Security)

The programme has been designed with the intent of creating a safe and secure environment for e-commerce and information security and to foster healthy trade practices.

The student herein are trained in the latest cyber technologies and in the art of tackling cyber crime

MBA-IT (Master of Business Administration in Information Technology)

The information technology is taking the lead everywhere the business in IT is raising manifolds. IT offers great potential to both the consumer as well as the entrepreneur. Consequently, like other enterprises the IT enterprises and industry needs management. Keeping this fact in view the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IITA) offers two years MBA programme in IT for producing efficient IT business managers.

Doctoral Programme

Research and Development is on the main focus of IIIT Allahabad and hence the institute offers the doctoral programme in different areas of Information Technology.

The admission to Doctoral Programme is open to both B.Tech. and M.Tech. degree holders. The programme is meant for conducting valuable research in the field of IT and adding the IT know-how to other disciplines vis-à-vis to conduct meaningful and marketable research for benefit of industrial and civil society.

A substantial portion of the work will be accomplished via simulation and modeling and design and fabrication of products/applications.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad also awards Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities / Sciences / Engineering.
