Undergraduate Programme

The following fees are payable on admission for Semester-I:

Tution fee	Rs.34,500
Caution Deposit	Rs. 5,000 (One timepayment. Refundable at the end of the programme; will be adjusted against theinitial fee deposited at the counselling centre)
Admission Fee	Rs. 5,000 (One timepayment, non-refundable)
Hostel Fee, Water& Electric Charges	For Double Occupancy(For Boys) - Rs.3,825 For Single Occupancy(For Girls) - Rs.7,650 ( Water &Electric Charges to be adjusted against actuals)
Mess Charges	Rs. 6,000 (to beadjusted against actuals )

1. Student has to submit (Rs.43,325/-, for Boys and Rs.47,150/- for Girls) in the form of a demand draft in favour of "IIIT, Hyderabad" and for Rs.6,000/- in favour of "IIIT Students Mess Account", at the time of admission.
2. Fee payable at the beginning of Semester II would be (for Boys Rs.38,325, for Girls Rs.42,150/-) plus Rs.6,000.

Post Graduate Programme

The tuition fee for all post-graduate programmes is Rs 50,000/- per semester.

Post B.Sc.

Fee structure for the first three years is similar to the UG programme:

The following fees are payable on admission for Semester-I:

At the time of admission, the student has to bring a Demand Draft for (for Boys Rs. 48,325/-, for Girls Rs.52,150/-) in favour of "IIIT, Hyderabad" and for Rs.5,000/- in favour of "IIIT Students Mess Account".

Fee payable at the beginning of Semester II would be (for Boys Rs.38,325/- for Girls Rs.42,150/-) plus Rs.5,000.

Fee structure for the fourth year is similar to PG programme, which is Rs. 50,000/- per semester.

PGSSP

Fee is charged as per the pro-rata rates of the institute. A student has to pay Rs 10,000/-to maintain the Post-Graduate Status in each semester. The current pro-rata tuition fee is Rs. 2500/- per credit with a maximum of Rs 10,000/- per course. PGSSP students will have access to the institute's library and other academic resources as long as he or she is registered for at least one course.

Foreign Students for M.Tech/MS/PhD Programme

US $ 10,000 per annum is charged towards tuition fee per student coming from under-developed or developing countries. US $ 15,000 per annum is charged towards tuition fee per student coming from developed countries.

Apart from tuition fees, a student needs to pay approximately US $ 25 per month for the accommodation charges which include room rent, electricity and water charges. Also one needs to pay the messing charges approximately US $ 35 per month.

Undergraduate courses

Study Loan

The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad has signed an MoU with Andhra Bank. Under the memorandum, Andhra Bank extends loans to the needy students towards the cost of stud, subject to certain terms and conditions..

Special Schemes

A) Pratibha scholarship
The Government of Andhra Pradesh offers Pratibha scholarship to meritorious students of the IIIT. The annual income of parents' of such students should not exceed the limit of Rs. 1 lakh.

B) IIIT special financial assistance scheme (ISFAS)
ISFAS is a need based scholarship offered by IIIT alumni for meritorious and needy candidates.

M.Tech.

The Institute offers full financial assistance in the form of teaching or research assistance to deserving candidates. The institute strives to provide full financial assistance to students during the course of research work.

M.Tech. students may receive partial financial assistance from second year onwards based on their performance in the first year.

GATE Scholarship

The candidates having valid GATE Score may receive GATE Scholarship towards M.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering/VLSI and Embedded Systems/BioInformatics/Computer Aided Structural Engineering and Computational Linguistics. This scholarship has begun from 2005-06 sessions for the M.Tech students of the institute.

Post B.Sc. Programme

In the fourth year of Post B.Sc. Programme, students may be provided teaching/research assistantship covering tuition fees and stipend.
