Post-BSc dual degree programme
(B.Tech CSE + MS by Research in Computational Natural Sciences)

The Post BSc Dual Degree Programme offered at IIIT Hyderabad is meant for meritorious science graduates/graduating in Physics / Chemistry (Honors) having strong aptitude and skills for pursuing research. The programme aims at providing students a platform for thesis work in basic sciences discipline along with deep insight in computers, IT and allied technologies.

The admission to Post B.Sc. Programme is offered on the basis of Entrance Examination conducted by IIIT Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelors' degree in Physics/Chemistry with Mathematics at the graduate level
• Strong motivation for carrying out research in Computational Bio-sciences.

Application Procedure

Aspiring candidates shall require filling the application for Post B.Sc. entrance test at IIIT Hyderabad Admission Portal. However, entrance test fee etc should be sent by post in the form of DD in favor of Chairperson, PG Admissions IIIT, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-500032. The applicant must clearly mention the form number and name of applicant in the reverse side of Demand Draft and address it to Chairperson, PG Admissions IIIT, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-500032.

Examination pattern

Total duration: 4 hrs

General Aptitude: 2 hrs (Objective Type)

This is objective type question paper and will emphasize on basic aptitude, logical reasoning, basic questions on computers and mathematics

Physical Sciences: 2 hrs (Objective Type)

The syllabus will be according to basic chemistry, physics taught at B.Sc. level in Indian universities.
