Domicile Requirements Only those candidates (except candidate claiming admission under reserved seats of sainik class or candidate of Displaced class of State of Jammu and Kashmir) shall be eligible for selection for admission against M.P. Quota seats for Engineering Colleges declared autonomous by Government of M.P. and Government aided non-Government engineering colleges, MACT, Bhopal and Autonomous and Self-financing Institutions of Madhya Pradesh against free seats of Private Engineering Colleges and against seats of Engineering Colleges situated out side Madhya Pradesh :-
Bonafide Resident: A candidate shall be deemed to be a bonafide resident of Madhya Pradesh, if he/she fulfills both the conditions (1) and (2) given below:
OR OR OR GUARDIAN : Guardian in relation to a candidate means any person who in the opinion of the District Magistrate concerned, has after the death of his/her father and mother been in actual charge of or control over the candidate for his/her property or both at the time of application since the death of his/her father and mother. The certificate of guardianship from the appropriate court shall have to be produced as an evidence of guardianship. If the father of a candidate is dead but the mother is alive, she shall be deemed to be natural guardian of the candidate and no other person shall be recognized as guardian. Son or daughter shall also include stepson or stepdaughter. Explanation 3: If any application, on the basis of being adopted son/daughter, seeks admission in unreserved or reserved category, then he/she shall have to produce convincing certificate of being adopted son/daughter; this certificate should be a legal Adoption Document of date at least 5 year earlier of the last date of submitting the Application form fixed by VYAPAM. This Adoption Document will not be acceptable unless it is confirmed from the certificates of school/University documents and certificates of high school/higher secondary /B.Sc. Part I or the certificate of examinations passed by the candidate in last 5 year. To be eligible for admission under these rules, the name of father mentioned in the above describe certificates will only be acceptable. Besides those, in the case of applicants adopted by scheduled caste and scheduled tribes it is necessary that the applicant before adoptions too was of scheduled caste or schedule tribe respectively. Such applicants who originally are of other caste and have been adopted by persons of scheduled caste or scheduled tribe shall not be eligible to receive the concessions and benefits received by applicants of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe.
