All admissions under Management Quota in any of the Govt. or Govt. Aided institution leading to bachelor’s degree program in engineering will be made on the basis of UPSEE.
85% seats in all the private colleges will be filled through UPSEE. Private colleges can fill 15% seats of the total available under management quota.
The admission procedure under management quota shall be in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
NRI Candidates
Admission to Non Resident Indians’ – NRI candidates in first year
5% seats of the total available in different programs (both Govt. and Private Institutions) are reserved for NRI category candidates. Direct admission is made to these seats and candidates do not require appearing in UPSEE.
Kashmiri Migrants
Kashmiri Migrants in First Year- The candidates displaced from the State of Kashmir gets direct admission into first semester of different undergraduate degree programs. The admission is made in accordance with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and UP Govt. guidelines.
Foreign Nationals
Admission to Foreign Nationals / Pio’s and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC)
Candidates under this category need not to appear in the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination- UPSEE.
15 % supernumery seats are available in both Govt. as well as Private Colleges across the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh has clear understandings regarding admission of Foreign Nationals, PIO’s and CIWGC’s.
