What is new this year?
•All the candidates who are appearing for Karnataka 2nd PUC Annual 2007 should compulsorily enter their Date of Birth, PU College Code and PU Student number in the box provided in the application form.

•All the candidates are required to compulsorily affix their LEFT HAND THUMB IMPRESSION using a BLUE ink pad within the space provided on the backside of the application form.

•The Common Entrance Test will be held on ONE DAY in three different sessions on 09-05-2007. (Read Item – 2 of Chapter – I for detailed time table and mode of conducting the test.)

•The CET Cell will not conduct Aptitude Test for admission of candidates to Architecture course. The candidates who wish to opt for Architecture course should compulsorily appear for NATA Test conducted by the Council of Architecture befor before e 15-05-2007 and should submit a certificate indicating NATA SCORES (on which the CET Number is boldly written) on or befor before 18-05-2007 to the CET Cell either in person or only through ‘Speed Post’. Architecture rank list will be prepared and published separately on the CET website along with the CET results. The candidates who do not appear for NATA Test and the candidates who do not submit their NATA scores to the CET Cell, will not be awarded any rank for admission to Architecture course. (Read box item at Item – 3 of Chapter – I for detailed information about NATA.)

•After the last bell i.e., after completion of each session of the test, all the candidates should compulsorily affix their LEFT HAND THUMB IMPRESSION in the space provided on the bottom portion of OMR answer sheet before handing over the OMR sheet to the room invigilator, without damaging / spoiling / spreading the ink on the other portions of the OMR answer sheet. The OMR answer sheet that does not possess the LEFT HAND THUMB IMPRESSION of the candidate will not be scanned and results in respect of such candidates will not be published.

•The terms and conditions for selection of seats in the Casual Vacancy round have been CHANGED. Therefore, the candidates and parents are advised to carefully read the details furnished in Item 5 of Chapter – III of the brochure about different stages of Casual Vacancy round, before coming to CET Cell for participating in the Admission round / Casual vacancy round seat selection process

•Please read the refund and forfeiture conditions detailed in this brochure carefully.

•The NCC and Sports Special category candidates have to obtain a certificate from the head of the institution where they have studied between 8th standard to 12th standard, for having participated in the NCC / Sports events and should compulsorily produce the same along with their NCC / Sports certificates to the CET Cell on the notified dates.Otherwise, they will not be eligible for selection of seats under the respective special categories.

•Candidates whose results are withheld for want of qualifying examination marks should submit a photocopy of their Q. E. marks card either in person or through Speed Post to the CET Cell and the ranks in respect of such candidates will be published subsequently.

•All the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under various eligibility clauses detailed in Item – 7 of Chapter – I of the brochure from ‘a’ to ‘m’ should COMPULSORILY produce their STUDY CERTIFICATES, when they come for seat selection process.
