EAMCET - Engg., Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test

Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), Andhra Pradesh is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

The University conducts EAMCET examination and prepares the merit list of candidates for admission into professional and technical colleges in Andhra Pradesh on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

Candidate who successfully finds place in merit list of EAMCET can get admission into 1st semester program of engineering / agricultural / architecture / medial courses.

The choice of course which a candidate chooses to study is totally depend upon the subject combination which a candidate opt for to appear in EAMCET examination.

However, the choice of subject combination in EAMCET test again depends on the stream of subjects studied by a candidate at qualifying level examination. The university issues proper guidelines for the test in the EAMCET information brochure regarding choice of subject and stream of study etc.

The university announces notification for the sale of application form for EAMCET examination and conduct of EAMCET examination every year on the behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher of Education (APSCHE).
