By Air : The nearest airport to Surathkal is Mangalore which is 30 km from mangalore city. You can hire a taxi from air port to reach NIT Surathkal campus.

By Rail : Mangalore has the Konkan railway track which connects Mangalore to Goa and Mumbai. You can board train to Surathkal from Mangalore. From Surathkal railway station you can take an auto rickshaw or some other vehicle for reaching NIT Surathkal.
