Under Graduate Courses:

Admissions to various under graduate programmes’ of the institute are done on the basis of the scores achieved by candidates in the All India Engineering/Pharmacy/Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE) that is held every year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Post Graduate Courses:

For securing admission to the various Post Graduate courses of the SVNIT, Surat, the candidates need to have 60 percent aggregate in the B.E or B.Tech programme or in equivalent examination in respective engineering field.

If a candidate is interested in PG Programme in Town and Regional Planning, which is offered by the Department of Civil Engineering, he/she should have atleast secured 60 percent aggregate in the B.E./B.Tech programme. A Bachelors degree holder in Architecture with an aggregate of 60 percent or above can also seek admission in this course.
