National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a pioneer in providing quality education in Fashion technology and management through a network of seven professionally managed centres at New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. The first centre of NIFT was established in New Delhi in 1986 under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Today, NIFT has emerged as the premier Institute of Design, Management and Technology. The institute builds professionals for taking up leadership positions in fashion business in the emerging global scenario.
The institute conducts common entrance test for all NIFT centres. The test is usually held in the month of February. The entrance test is conducted for admission to several Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. DOU=26122007
