15% seats and JRF are reserved for S.C.,
7.5% for S.T.,
3% for Physically Handicapped (P.H.) candidates.
Reservation for OBC will be applicable in Central Universities namely IARI, IVRI, NDRI, CIFE, BHU, AMU and Viswa Bharti as per Govt. of India directives and communication from these Universities. Two percent seats are also reserved for the candidates from under-privileged states (UPS) not having any Agricultural/ Veterinary University. There is no reservation of JRF for candidates from OBC and UPS categories. They would be entitled for JRF based on overall merit.
