TIFR - Eligibility Criteria

(i) A Master's degree (M.Sc.) in any of the natural sciences/ mathematics/ statistics/ computer and information sciences/ pharmaceutical sciences or any allied disciplines can apply.

(ii) Candidates having degree in engineering or medicine (B.Tech. / B.E./ M.B.B.S. or equivalent) are eligible for admission. 

(iii) Candidates with Master's degree (M.A./ M.S.W.) in any of the social/ behavioural sciences/ psychology/ linguistics/ sociology/ economics/ anthropology or any allied disciplines can also apply.

Note: Final year M.Sc/MA/ B.Tech/MBBS students may also apply. Applicants must have a consistently good academic record and a strong interest in research in science education.
