GMAT Pattern


GMAT is used by business schools for MBA and Ph.D admission. Obviously levels of questions are set in way to determine the abilities of a college grad if he / she would be able to pursue management degree successfully. Here given GMAT Exam Pattern based on which questions are asked in GMAT Test.

GMAT Test Pattern

  • Analytical Writing Assessment – 60 Minutes (2 prompts)
  • Quantitative- 75 Minutes
  • Verbal- 75 Minutes
  • Total Exam Time- 3 Hour 30 Minutes

Note : GMAT is changing very soon; notifications are already issued about GMAT Exam Pattern Change. In future GMAT Syllabus should be as follows

  • Analytical Writing Assessment – 30 Minutes (1 prompts)
  • Quantitative- 75 Minutes
  • Verbal- 75 Minutes
  • Integrated Reasoning- 30 Minutes
  • Total Exam Time- 3 Hour 30 Minutes

GMAT Research


GMAT Test takers who appear for GMAT from July 5 - August 19, 2011 will take part in a special research project for GMAT Integrated Reasoning Section, which shall be launching in June 2012.
