A fully automated modern Library & Information Centre (LIC) is on its way to becoming an outstanding learning resource centre catering to the ever growing and uncompromising information and intellectual requirements of the students, faculty, and researchers.

Information Resources

A balanced programme on the development of the collection of hard copy, audio/video, CD-ROM, and other electronic forms of documents is being followed. The LIC has one of the finest collections of latest management publications.

The LIC has acquired over 13000 books. The books are classified according to the UDC Scheme of Library Classification. LIC's Web based Catalogue (Web OPAC) is available in the Institute LAN. The LIC subscribes to around 320 print and over 740 electronic journals, along with a massive set of over 3500 aggregated full-text contents of e-journals, both Indian and foreign.The Audio-Visual Unit in the LIC hosts about 215 educational videos, covering the entire range of disciplines in management

Computing Facilities

IIMK is equipped with state of the art hardware and software resources capable of providing support for diverse computing requirements. It has more than 100 Pentium based microcomputers connected over an Ethernet Local Area Network (LAN) under some of the latest Network Operating Systems running on world class latest high-end IBM Netfinity Servers. An environment of wide variety of operating systems such as Windows-95, Windows-98, Windows NT Server 4.0 and LINUX has been established at IIMK to make students familiar with latest operating systems.
