MICAT is entrance exam of 90 minutes’ duration, designed to test the candidate’s aptitude and orientation towards communications as a profession. The Group Exercise is given to a group of 8–10 students who will discuss and finalize their findings of an assigned task.
It tests the clarity of thought process, verbal skills, lateral thinking and the candidate’s level of comfort in a group situation. The Personal Interview helps to determine the suitability of the candidate for the PGDM-C and the industries it caters to.

- The online Admission forms are available till January 20, 2012.
- The last date of submission of Admission forms is January 24, 2012.
- MICAT Call letters will be issued in February 2012.
- The GE & PI will be held on February to March.
- The results will be declared on April 2012.
- The Session will commence from the last week of June 2012.

MICAT 2012 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for Post Graduate Diploma in Management –Communications (PGDM-C)
- Bachelor’s degree in the 10 + 2 + 3 (4) system
- Minimum 50% marks in graduation
- Should have successfully qualified CAT
- Students with demonstrable aptitude for expressing, assessing or conceiving ideas that move people to action and achieve business results, will stand better chances of being shortlisted.
