Orissa Management Aptitude Test – OMAT

OMAT is literally stands for Orissa Management Aptitude Test. It is a state level Test, conducted by Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa. Admissions to Management Degree Courses offered through various Institutes in the state of Orissa are done through a Central Counseling conducted by BPUT.

Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela has been established by an Act of the Assembly, Government of Orissa in June 2002. Today, the University has 110 colleges, both constituent and affiliated, with around 58,000 students. All Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and most of the colleges are offering MCA and MBA degree programs are either constituent or affiliated colleges of this University. Several of these Colleges/Institutes offer both undergraduate and post graduate courses. Admissions to all Courses are done through Central Counseling on the basis of merit list prepared by Central Admission Committee set up by Directorate of Technical Education and Training (DTE&T), Orissa.
