FMS conducts full time MBA course, part-time MBA course, and even doctorla programs in management. Though students are eligible to apply to FMS after qualifying CAT or GMAT, the institute holds its own entrance examination as well. The eligibility criteria for admission to various programs is given below.
FMS Full Time MBA Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA (Full-Time) Program in FMS, University of Delhi must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree Program after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows:

Sciences - 55%

Mathematics or Statistics - 60%

Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00
OR
Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks. (Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor’s / Post Graduate Degree examinations may also apply).
2. Candidates must be 20 years of age as on 1st of October of the year of admission.
3. There is no reservation whatsoever for the graduates of Delhi university or the residents of Delhi.
FMS Part Time MBA Eligibility Criteria
1. Every candidate seeking admission into MBA – Part-time programs in FMS, University of Delhi should have passed a bachelor’s degree examination of at least 3 years durationwith a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
Relaxation on this criterion may be made for those who scored more than 55% marks in aggregate in their post graduate degree or at least 60% in a Diploma in Personnel Management, Diploma in Management, Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Diploma in Administrative Management of the Delhi University conducted by the Faculty prior to the implementation of this particular scheme.
2. Candidates should have at least three years experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial, industrial or government establishment after passing the Bachelor’s Degree Examination.
3. Three years Full-Time experience shall be determined as on 1st August of the year of admission.
4. Candidates must be sponsored by his/her present employer.
FMS Full Time MBA (MS) Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates must be at least 20 years of age as on 1st of October on the year of admission.
2. Candidates applying for admission to first year of the program must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelors Degree Program in any of the following disciplines.
The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows:

FMS Part Time MBA (HCA) Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA (HCA) program shall have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination in Medicine of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 5 years experience in Hospital Administration after acquiring the Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine.
2. Candidates must be sponsored by his/her present employer.
3. Selection will be made on the basis of interview only.
FMS Doctoral Programs Eligibility Criteria
Admission Process to the doctoral program at FMS generally begins in the month of July/August every year. The candidates who are interested to pursue the doctoral programme at FMS are requested to contact the FMS Administrative office for admission information.
Candidates Exempted from CAT - 2011
The candidates who are exempted from CAT 2011, have to submit completed forms to the Board of Research Studies Management at FMS, by the 31st of January, 2012. A demand draft of Rs. 250 drawn in favour of the Registrar, Delhi University has to sent along with the application form.
Following categories of candidates are exempted from the CAT 2011:
- Teachers of the University of Delhi holding permanent, temporary, or ad-hoc positions, and having completed two years of service as teacher in a Department/Constituent College of University of Delhi.
- Applicants in receipt of National Fellowships such as:
- JRF through UGC/NET and CSIR/NET
- Fellowship of CSIR/CAR/CCSR/DBT/DST or room any other recognized Government Institution/Organizations
- Rajiv Gandhi Fellowships from UGC
- University Teaching Assistantship
