AIM (Asia-Pacific Institute of Management) was established in the year 1996 under the aegis of a non-profitable autonomous body called All India Asian Education Foundation (AIAEF). Today AIM is Ranked as an A+ category Business School and rated as the best in “Programme Delivery” among the super league of Top 20 business schools in India. AIM was also awarded 6th rank in Intellectual Capital, 16th in infrastructure and 24th in placement in all India as per AIMA-Business Standard survey, Sept. 2005.

At Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, the Admission process comprises of the following stages: - Screening Test:
Candidates have to appear in any one of the following: -
- CAT conducted by IIMs (Fifty percentile and above)
- Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA (600) Composite Score 80 percentile and above.
- XAT conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur.
Company-sponsored and International candidates are exempted from the written test.
- Group Discussion and Personal Interview:
Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for a group discussion and personal interview.
