Birla Institute of Management Technology

One of the premier business schools in India, Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMT) was established in 1988 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture. BIMTECH's first campus is located in Greater Noida and the other at city-centre in New Delhi. The Institute is supported by B.K. Birla group of companies. Large number of students from all over India takes the entrance exam conducted by the Institute for various management courses, every year. The Institute also attracts a good numbers of foreign students for its management programs at different academic levels.

Admission to all the programs of the Institute involves a three stage procedure:

• Written test (CAT/MAT)
• Group discussion
• Personal interview

Candidates from the following categories are exempt from the written test:

1. NRI
2. NRI Sponsored
3. Foreign Nationals
4. Company Sponsored

In order to be considered for admission, the applicants need to fill up the Application form of BIMTECH in addition to appearing the relevant test applicable for the specific program.

Group discussion will be conducted at Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Indore & Greater Noida. BIMTECH has the discretion to cancel any of the centers. The selection for admission shall be on the basis of the merit as determined by the candidate's performance in written test, group discussion, interview, and graduation credentials. The decision of the admission committee on the selection of candidates for any of the programmes offered at BIMTECH will be final and binding.

Group Discussion and Personal Interview: Candidates will be called for GD & PI in the ratio of 10:1 in order of merit i.e. for each seat to be offered in each of the course 10 candidates would be called in the order of merit on a set of criteria.
