Introduction
Xavier Institute of Social Services (XISS), Ranchi was established in 1955 to offer higher education in the domains of Rural Development, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. XISS which was earlier a subsidiary of St. Xavier’s College Ranchi, recognized as separate entity in 1973 and registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860. Xavier Institute of Social Services (XISS), Ranchi is a residential institution. Students of regular full time programs live in the hostel rooms of the institute. XISS also offers residential facilities to faculty and staff members.
