Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) Kerala is one of the premier universities in India. The university is academically structured into 9 faculties, viz’ Engineering, Environmental Studies, Humanities, Law, Marine Sciences, Medical Science & Technology, Science, Social Science and Technology.

School of Management. Studies of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is one of the oldest academic units of the University.

School of Management Studies pursues all the four areas of academic activity, viz; teaching, training, research and consultancy. The school offers a 4-semester full-time and a 6-semester part-time M.B.A. program in addition to a 4-semester full-time Masters’ program in International Business (M.I.B.).

All these programs provide considerable options to specialize in different functional areas. Currently the School offers specialization in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Systems and Operations and Human Resource Management.

School of Management Studies (SMS) also offers Research Programs leading to the award of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D). Admission to various management programs are based on Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted independently by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) Kerala every year.

• Date of CUSAT Notification for CAT, LET & DAT: January 10, 2012

• CUSAT Online registration ( CAT / LET ): January 15, 2012 to February 05,  2012

• Sale of applications for DAT from departments and submission of filled up applications to the department concerned: January 16, 2012 to February 10, 2012

• Online Registration for M. Tech programs: January 15, 2012 to March 31, 2012

• Online Registration for International Students: January 15, 2012 to March 31, 2012

• Admit card downloading: 20th April, 2012 to 06th May, 2012

• Lateral Entry Test to be conducted on: May 13, 2012

CUSAT CAT 2012 Programs

CUSAT School of Management Studies offers following post graduate programs on the basis of performance in CUSAT Common Admission Test (CAT). 

• Master of Business Administration (2 year - Full Time)
• Master of Business Administration (3 year - Part Time)

Management Development Programs are being offered in these areas:

CUSAT CAT 2012 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the various programs offered at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) are:

• M.B.A. (Full-time / Part-time): A degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

• Master of Business Economics (MBE): Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any subject including Engineering, Technology, Agriculture and Medicine with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

• Master of International Business (MIB): A degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

• Master of Travel and Tourism Management (MTTM): A degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
