Bachelor’s Degree Programs: The basic eligibility for the Bachelors degree programs (i.e. BBA, BBS, BBM, etc.) is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized University or Board. State Board etc. Generally the admissions to these programs are carried out on merit basis but some institutes do have their own Entrance Exams also. There is no common admission test available in the India at present for these programs, which might be followed by multiple institutes.
The details about the entrance exams can generally be obtained from the respective institutes. These exams are generally conducted after the completion of the 10+2 exams through a pre-registration process which may differ from institute to institute. In some of these schools the candidates can appear in the entrance tests even before getting the 10+2 scores. But the final 10+2 merit / scores are taken into account during the final admission process. Masters Programs (MBA) The basic eligibility for the Masters programs is a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from any recognized institution. In India the process starts with a candidate applying for the MBA Entrance Tests held either at the national level or institute level which are notified well in advance.
