Introduction
Indo German Training Center (IGTC) is an initiative of Indo German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC), a not for profit organization established in 1956. The IGCC is a subsidiary of the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) situated in Berlin, Germany. The IGCC has its headquarters in Mumbai and 5 more branches in Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, New Delhi and Pune and a liaison office in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The IGCC serves the purpose of promoting business ties between India and Germany. The training department of IGCC i.e. Indo German Training Center (IGTC) offers training and development program in business administration to produce eligible managers for IGCC companies. To accomplish its purpose the IGTC works closely with member companies. To train human resources Indo German Training Center (IGTC) offers Post Graduate Diploma Program in Business Administration and Customized Management Development Programs, and organizes Open Training Workshops.
The Indo German Training Center (IGTC) has centers in Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore. IGTC Mumbai has 40 seats, and IGTC Chennai and Bangalore has 30 seats each to offer Post Graduate Diploma Program.
Programs
The Indo German Training Center (IGTC) offers Post Graduate Diploma Program in Business Administration. The duration of program is 18 months and program is based on German Dual System. It encompasses one year of theoretical training and six months industrial training with Partner Company. Some of the world class German and Indian companies that are active partners and final recruiters include Auma, Bajaj Allianz, BASF, Bayer, Bosch, DHL Express, Dorma, Fuchs Lubricants, Lanxess, Merck, Metro, Siemens, Volkswagen, etc. Besides these, there are many other small and medium-sized partner companies. The IGTC has recorded 100% placement in past years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduates in any stream can apply for appearing in IGTC Entrance Exam.
- Candidates with industry experience after graduation both self sponsored and company sponsored can also apply.
- Minimum marks required in graduation are 50% in aggregate.
