Amrita School of Business (ASB)

Within the short span of time since it was established in 1996, Amrita School of Business (ASB), earlier known as Amrita Institute of Management has evolved as a vibrant, value based and inter-disciplinary Business School.The famous English magazine 'Outlook' recently placed the institute at 21st position among all the top private business schools in India. The MBA Degree Programme (earlier called Post Graduate Diploma in Management PGDM) is a fully residential two-year Programme at the Coimbatore campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

The School and its entire programme are fully approved and accredited by AICTE, NBA and AIU. At present, the current student intake for MBA Degree Programme is 120.

The school also boast of its partnership with The (SUNY) at Buffalo for one of its programmes called MITES/MIS, where candidates can benefit from its dual degree programme. The course is targeted at IT and Information sciences professionals.

Admission Procedure

ASB uses CAT for short listing the candidates for its programmes.Short-listed candidates are then called for Group Discussion.Interviews are held at Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kolkatta, Mumbai and New Delhi.

Placement

ASB enjoys great popularity in the corporate circle. So far, the highest offer in Campus was 7.5 lakhs given by Thomas Cook.
