To fill up the limited seats in the Bachelors programme of Mass Communication, the Universities and Institutes conduct entrance in the month of May and June each year. The months of May and June are usually zeroed in on as the academic session of these universities/institutes commence from July onwards. Moreover, the 10+2 result is also out in the month of May usually. But one can never be sure of the entrance examination date. The date of the exams differs from year to year and depends to a great extent on the declaration of the 10+2 boards result. If the board examination results are delayed due to some reason or the other, then the admission process too gets delayed.

Delhi’s University which offers the course in total eight colleges under its umbrella holds the entrance examination in the month of June for the session starting in mid-July.
