The aim of holding entrance test of any institute/university offering course in Mass Communication field is to evaluate the student who wants to enroll with them. A student whether wants to seek admission at bachelor, masters or PG Diploma level has to undergo a test. The test assesses the student and makes the university/institute know whether the student is capable for taking up the course. The examination usually consists of a written test (objective and descriptive) and an interview.
No university/institute holds the same entrance test. Every university/institute has different examination pattern. While some institute ask a student to write an essay after which he has to answer some questions of general awareness others also judge the numerical ability and English knowledge of the student. The marks are usually awarded out of 100 and general awareness part carries the maximum weightage.
