The Aligarh Muslim University is a premier Central University offering courses in MBBS and BDS. The varsity conducts Entrance Examination i.e. Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission into MBBS/BDS courses in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College. On the basis of score in Common Admission Test (CAT) admission is offered in Graduate Courses i.e. MBBS and BDS.
Eligibility CriteriaAge Limit: Not less than 17 years as on 31st December, 2007.
No relaxation shall be made in the age limit under any circumstances.
Minimum Qualification: The candidate must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination/Pre-Medical Examination of this University or an examination recognized by the University as its equivalent in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. Further the candidate must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of competitive entrance examination by securing not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the competitive examination.
