NIFT Entrance Exam 2012 is all India entrance exam for admission into Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs offered in following NIFT Centres New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Raebarelli, Bhopal, Kanpur, Patna and Shillong. On the basis of merit in entrance exam following programs are offered-
- Bachelor Programs: B.Des (Accessory Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, Leather Design, Textile Design), B.F.Tech (Apparel Production)
- Master Programs: M.Des (Design), M.FM (Fashion Management), M.F.Tech (Fashion Technology)

- Application Form Available Online: 21 November, 2011 to 10 January, 2012
- Last Date of receipt of the Filled Forms: 12th January, 2012

- Availability of Admit Card: On or After 28 January 2012 (1400 hours)
- Written Entrance Examination: 12 February, 2012 (Sunday)
- Declaration of Written Examination Result: End of March, 2012
- Situation Test/GD/Interviews: April - May, 2012
- Declaration of Final Results Bachelor/Master Programmes: End of May/June, 2012
- Counseling: June, 2012 and July, 2012
- 2nd Round Counseling: End of July, 2012
