Down the years, the Indian society stood for a greater emphasis on education. Looking back at the past 60 years we can surely say that India has strengthened its higher education system by leaps and bounds. India’s rapid progress is evident from the fact that as of now the whole of Indian education scenario consists of 25 Central Universities, 231 State Universities, 23 Private Universities and 103 Deemed Universities.
With a view to bring in all the Indian Universities under one umbrella where the maximum possible information about these universities could be disseminated to the educational community all over the world - the National Network of Education has launched the Universities Hub. To put it briefly, this is envisaged to be an encyclopedia of all the Indian Universities.
