XAT 2012 Expected Cut Off

XAT 2012 Exam is believed one of the toughest examinations in management entrance exam category. This year test was held on January 8, 2012. The examination came with many surprises; this was tougher compared to previous years’ XAT entrances Exams. There were 101 questions totaling 253 marks. All the questions were carrying different weightage of marks ranging between 1 and 5 marks.

The XAT 2012 test structure was as follows

Section A/I
Subject- Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning
No. of Marks- 34
Time Allowed: 35 Minutes

Section B / II
Subject: Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making
No. of Marks: 24
Time Allotted: 35 Minutes

Section C/III
Subject: Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability
No. of Marks: 43
Time Allotted: 50 minutes

According to test XAT 2011 test takers from different places in India, the test was extremely tough. The students who had appeared in previous XAT found XAT 2011 extremely difficult in comparison. Also there were poetry based questions asked in Section I.
