Prospectus and application forms for IGNOU July 2013 admission

The prospectus can be collected by a payment of Rs. 200 at the regional centres or ordered by post with a demand draft of Rs. 250 in favour of IGNOU, New Delhi. Send this to the Registrar, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-68. It can be also downloaded from the official website of IGNOU by paying the amount specified via debit or credit card.

Important dates

  • Admissions open: 22 April, 2013
  • Admission notification: 29 April, 2013
  • Last date to submit application: 15 June, 2013
  • Last date to submit with late fee of Rs. 500: 31 July, 2013

Eligibility

  1. Those students seeking admission in IGNOU M.A. programmes must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university, preferably in the same subject opted for. There is no restriction in terms of age.
  2. Those seeking admission to B.A. programs must have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU.
  3. For postgraduate diploma courses, the eligibility is usually a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Log on to the official website for further information.
  4. For diploma courses, the minimum requirement is pass marks in the 10+2 or its equivalent, but certain subjects need minimum marks and experience.
