AFMC, Pune applications for MBBS 2014 begin, AIPMT scores to be used
One of India's premier medical college, the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), is inviting applications from eligible candidates for its MBBS course which begins from 1 August, 2014.
AFMC, Pune is the first medical college set up by the Armed Forces of any country in Asia. Its uniqueness lies in the way it combines medical education with training specific to the health care needs of India's Armed Forces. AFMC is currently affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) and is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) to conduct Undergraduate and various Post - Graduate medical courses.

Online application and registration begins for MBBS program at AFMC, Pune: 21 April, 2014

AFMC 2014 Exam Pattern
AFMC no longer conducts its own medical entrance exam. Admission to the MBBS program offered at AFMC, Pune, India is done through AIPMT exam (conducted by the CBSE). This is followed by a "Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR)" (conducted by AFMC) and a Psychological Assessment-cum-Interview at AFMC, Pune.
