AICTE to conduct First CMAT 2014-15 in September 2013

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will be conducting the first Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) from 26 to 30 September, 2013 for admission to management programmes for the 2014 to 2015 academic session.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants can be graduates in any discipline or final year students pursuing graduate courses. You may visit our CMAT Eligibility Criteria page to get more details.


Application procedure

Applicants can log on to AICTE's official website to register and apply online for the computer based CMAT between 3 July - 21 August, 2013. You can go through the detailed instructions on how to apply for the AICTE CMAT September 2013 exam.

The test fee is Rs. 1200 plus bank charges as applicable for general and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates. The test fee is Rs. 600 plus bank charges as applicable for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Physically Disabled candidates (SC/ST/PD). The test fee in foreign countries would be $125 and additional bank charges as applicable.

Online payment can be done through net banking, credit card or debit card. Cash payment can be made through a challan that is generated online while applying, which then must be submitted to any State Bank of India (SBI) branch.

Exam pattern

CMAT 2014 will consist of four sections with 25 questions (MCQ) each. The duration of the test is three hours. You may visit our CMAT exam pattern page to get more details.
