The All India Management Association (AIMA) UGAT (Undergraduate Aptitude Test) will be held across India and in two cities abroad on 11 May 2013 (tentatively). AIMA UGAT is offered as a paper-based or computer-based test.

About AIMA

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is a national body offering testing, training and education, among other activities. Universities, colleges or institutes with the programs listed below are eligible to participate in UGAT.

About the Programs

UGAT tests for admission to the following programs at various institutions:



  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) E-com
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Information Technology
  • Integrated Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

Participating UGAT colleges and institutes are expected to be announced in March, 2013.

AIMA UGAT 2013 Important Dates

  • Registration forms available online until: 1 May 2013
  • Last date for receipt of online registration printout along with demand draft: 3 May 2013
  • Admit cards available: Seven days prior to the test
  • Date of the test (tentative): 11 May 2013

AIMA UGAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed the 10+2 from a recognized board. The equivalent of the 10+2 is also acceptable. Candidates currently completing the 10+2 are also eligible to apply.

AIMA UGAT 2013 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern varies according to the program to which you apply. The test begins at 10 a.m.

BCA, BBA, etc.:

Two hours is alloted for test completion.

  • English Language: 40 questions
  • Numerical and Data Analysis: 30 questions
  • Reasoning and Intelligence: 30 questions
  • General Knowledge: 30 questions

BHM:

This test provides three hours for completion.

  • English Language: 40 questions
  • Numerical and Data Analysis: 30 questions
  • Reasoning and Intelligence: 30 questions
  • General Knowledge: 30 questions
  • Service Aptitude: 25 questions
  • Scientific Aptitude: 25 questions

AIMA UGAT 2013 Application Procedure

The application needs to be completed online. Before submitting the registration form, have the demand draft ready. The demand draft should be for Rs. 500 drawn in favor of the "All India Management Association," payable at New Delhi. You will receive a registration number upon successful submission of the form. Make sure to save the form and it print it, affixing a passport size photograph and attaching the demand draft. Send the documents to:

The form must be received before 3 May 2013.

Sending UGAT scores

Once your application has been verified, the list of participating UGAT institutes will be sent to you. Once you choose five institutes, your score will be sent to these schools automatically by AIMA. You have up to the test date to choose or edit which five schools will receive the UGAT 2013 score.

Admit cards

Seven days before the test, admit cards will be available for download. You will need your UGAT registration number for access.
