CIC Entrance Test 2013 for B.Tech. (Innovation with Maths & IT) and B.Tech. Humanities

The Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC) of the University of Delhi (DU) is inviting applications to its multi-disciplinary Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programmes for the academic session 2013 to 2014 through an entrance test.

About the programmes

The two multi-disciplinary courses being offered by CIC are:

  1. B. Tech./B.S. (Innovation with Mathematics & Information Technology): This is generally a four-year course (eight semesters) with 40 seats on offer. This programme would revolve around innovation based on mathematics and IT. The programme intends to train students in core mathematics, IT and science disciplines and will offer additional courses on innovation and technology management, entrepreneurship, business and communication. Since innovation is an application oriented domain, there will be strong emphasis on problem solving, project work and training using real world problems.

  2. B. Tech. Humanities (based on meta college concept of "Design your own Degree"): This is designed as a four-year course (eight semesters) with 40 seats on offer. This programme relies on the meta college concept where students can choose courses from various colleges of DU under the guidance of a mentor. Students can pick courses to specialise in streams such as Journalism, Education, Historical Tourism, Counselling and Art & Design.
