Candidates should be Indian nationals and satisfy local or non-local status requirements. The requirements are listed in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974. MBA candidates should have passed a bachelor's degree exam with at least 50 percent marks (45 percent for Scheduled Castes/Schedule Tribes category candidates) in the qualifying exam. The program should have been at least three years in length. MCA candidates also should have passed a bachelor's degree of at least three years with minimum 50 percent marks in the qualifying exam and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. Minimum marks are 45 percent for SC/ST category candidates

If your qualifying degree was obtained via distance mode, it should have recognition by the joint committee of the UGC, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Distance Education Council (DEC). Candidates currently appearing for the final year degree examination must also be eligible for ICET 2013. For 2013, qualifying marks in the test are 25 percent.
